Passion is the fuel that drives us—giving life purpose, excitement, and deeper meaning. Whether it’s something you’ve loved forever or something you’ve recently discovered, passion is what keeps us engaged, growing, and fulfilled.
Passions That Shape My Life
At this stage in my life, my passions feel even more intentional and meaningful than they did when I was younger. I’ve learned to cherish the things that truly matter to me:
💖 Family: Nothing compares to the joy of spending time with my children and grandchildren, watching them grow, sharing stories, and making memories together. Being away from them is tough, but their love is something I carry with me wherever I go.
❤️ Love & Connection: Rekindling a relationship with my high school sweetheart after 40 years has been an incredible experience. Our connection has deepened in ways we never imagined back then, and it’s a beautiful reminder that life has unexpected, wonderful surprises.
🌿 Embracing Simple Joys: I grew up in a small rural community, and my childhood taught me to find beauty in simple things—cooking fresh food, enjoying nature, and making do with what I had. I’m passionate about appreciating life’s little luxuries and finding meaning in simplicity.
📝 Storytelling & Reflection: Writing has become an outlet for my thoughts and experiences—a way to reflect on life’s journey, lessons, and the people who’ve shaped me. Whether it’s sharing memories, rediscovering old joys, or thinking about the future, writing helps me process and connect.
Why Passion Matters
Passion gives life energy and purpose—it’s what makes us excited to get up in the morning. Whether it’s family, love, creativity, learning, or adventure, having something you care deeply about keeps your heart engaged and your mind curious.
