Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the quiet kind of hope—not the loud, firework-flashing kind, but the slow ember that burns beneath memory and moss. The kind you carry with you even when you’re not sure what you’re waiting for.
So what am I most excited about for the future?
I’m excited about deep roots and new shoots. About stories we haven’t uncovered yet, and voices rising from places too often overlooked. I’m excited about the return of the sacred quiet—where people gather not for noise, but for meaning. I’m excited for porchlight conversations and gravel-road reunions, where we measure time in handshakes and second chances.
Mostly, I’m excited that we’re still here—still showing up, still telling the truth, still naming what matters and what heals. I believe the best parts of the future aren’t born from blueprints or deadlines, but from whispers in the willow and the courage to listen.
Because the future I’m dreaming of? It looks a lot like home.
The Shape of Tomorrow
There’s a hush that hums beneath the years,
A soft unfolding past the fears.
Not loud with plans or bold decree,
But quiet hope that roots in me.
It blooms in stories yet unspun,
In morning light not yet begun.
Where soil remembers, hearts repair—
And futures rise on whispered prayer.
