It wasn’t a grand event or a big announcement. It was a moment. A milestone. A quiet celebration that reminded me how far I’ve come.
The last thing I got excited about was reaching my first Pampered Chef sales goal. $500 in sales may not sound like much to some, but to me—it was a symbol. A whisper that said, “You’re building something real.”
I remember refreshing the page, watching the numbers climb, and feeling that little flutter in my chest. Not because of the reward (though the Mini Loaf Pan and Beer Bread Mix are definitely calling my name), but because of what it meant: that people showed up. That community matters. That small steps lead to big shifts.

I got excited because this isn’t just about kitchen tools. It’s about Whispering Willow Kitchen becoming a space where stories are stirred into recipes, and connection is baked into every bite. It’s about honoring my journey—from administrative assistant to entrepreneur, from caregiver to creator.
And maybe most of all, I got excited because I allowed myself to celebrate. To pause. To say, “This matters.”
So now I ask you—what’s the last thing you got excited about? Was it a new recipe? A blooming flower in your garden? A kind message from a friend? Whatever it was, I hope you let yourself feel it fully. Because joy deserves to be noticed.
