What are your favorite 5 apps on your phone?

By Michelle Allen

A friend recently asked me what my five favorite apps are, and I had to laugh because my phone is pretty simple these days.

I do love Messenger. It’s how I keep in touch with family and friends, especially Dan when we’re apart. There’s something comforting about waking up in the morning and seeing a heart emoji waiting for me. It’s a small thing, but those little messages can make my whole day start with a smile.

Another favorite is Royal Match. I enjoy playing a few levels when I have some downtime. It’s a fun way to relax, challenge my brain a little, and escape for a few minutes from whatever is going on around me.

Beyond that, my phone isn’t loaded with all the bells and whistles. I used to be active on Facebook before my account was disabled, and that was one of the apps I used the most. These days, I keep things much simpler.

I rely on my text messaging app to stay connected with people. Sometimes the simplest way to reach someone is still the best. A quick text can brighten someone’s day or help you stay in touch when life gets busy.

My email app is another one I use regularly. Whether it’s keeping up with important information, communicating with friends, or handling everyday business, email remains a useful tool.

And finally, I’d have to include my reminders app. At my age, those little reminders are worth their weight in gold! They help me keep track of appointments, tasks, and all the little things I don’t want to forget.

So my top five apps would probably be:

  1. Messenger
  2. Royal Match
  3. Text Messages
  4. Email
  5. Reminders

Nothing fancy, but they help me stay connected, organized, and entertained. In many ways, that’s all I really need.

Now I’d love to hear from you: What are your favorite five apps on your phone, and why?
