☕ You Can’t Pour from an Empty Cup: How Do You Make Time for Self-Care? ðŸ’œ

How do you make time for self-care?

By Michelle Allen

Self-care is one of those things we all know is important, but somehow it often ends up at the bottom of our to-do list. Between work, family responsibilities, household tasks, and everything else life throws our way, it’s easy to put ourselves last.

I’ve learned that self-care doesn’t always have to mean a spa day, a weekend getaway, or hours of free time. Sometimes it’s the small things that make the biggest difference. It might be taking a quiet walk, reading a chapter of a good book, enjoying a favorite cup of coffee, spending time with loved ones, or simply giving yourself permission to rest without feeling guilty.

For me, self-care is about creating moments that help me feel refreshed, grounded, and ready to take on whatever comes next. When I take care of myself, I have more energy, patience, and positivity to share with others.

The challenge isn’t usually knowing what self-care looks like. It’s finding the time and making it a priority. Even setting aside just a few minutes each day can have a positive impact on our overall well-being.

So I’m curious:

✨ How do you make time for self-care?
✨ What’s one self-care habit that helps you recharge when life gets busy?
✨ Do you schedule it into your day, or do you find little moments whenever you can?

I’d love to hear your tips and ideas!
