My Bucket List Is Bigger Than My Passport

What’s a country that’s at the top of your bucket list?

Honestly? I can’t pick just one.

My travel bucket list is so long that choosing a single destination feels almost impossible. Japan, Ireland, Greece, Iceland, Norway, Italy… each one offers something completely different, and every time I think I’ve settled on a favorite, another destination captures my imagination.

The reality is that I may never get to visit all the places I’d love to see. There are time constraints, financial realities, and life’s endless responsibilities. But that doesn’t stop me from dreaming.

And maybe that’s part of the beauty of a bucket list.

Dreaming about future adventures gives us something to look forward to. It inspires us to learn about different cultures, imagine new experiences, and remind ourselves that the world is much bigger than our daily routines. Whether it’s watching the Northern Lights in Norway, exploring ancient ruins in Greece, wandering through the streets of Tokyo, or standing atop the green cliffs of Ireland, each destination represents a possibility.

Will I ever make it to all of them? Probably not.

But it’s still nice to dream.

Sometimes the dream itself is part of the journey.

So, if you had to choose, what country sits at the top of your bucket list? Or are you like me, with a list that’s far too long and a heart that wants to see it all?
